What Enzo Fernandez did following the prejudice he experienced when he returned to Chelsea's education.

While Argentina celebrated their Copa America victory, Fernandez posted a picture of a song with racist and misogynistic phrases.

Apparently, Enzo Fernandez apologized right away for his role in the contest controversy that followed Argentina's Copa America triumph after he rejoined his Chelsea friends on the team's tour of the United States.

After posting a video of him and several of his foreign colleagues singing an unpleasant song that featured racist and anti-trans terms about the France team, Fernandez caused a race stir earlier this month.

Fernandez missed Chelsea's pre-season visit due to an extended break following Copa America, but according to the Telegraph, he has since reconnected with the rest of the crew, apologized, and made a sizable payment to an anti-discrimination charity.

The document adds that the team have been impressed by Fernandez's answer to the event, that they have matched this payment.

Fernandez's Chelsea partner Wesley Fofana immediately condemned the film which followed Argentina's win over Colombia earlier this month, posting a clip of it with the action: ' Football in 2024: unrestrained racism,' while he and many other Blues stars unfollowed the 23-year-old on social media.

Chelsea confirmed that they had gone through an "internal administrative treatment" over the video, while the France Football Federation confirmed they had record a legal issue.

Chelsea will be hoping that Fernandez's explanation will mean that the crew will be able to consider the matter closed as they look to improve matters on the pitch, with new manager Enzo Maresca thus far seeing his part draw with League One Wrexham and reduce 4-1 to Celtic so far on their journey of the US. Next up for the Blues is a clash against Club America on Wednesday evening.
