One of their own people accidentally revealed their transfer strategies to Liverpool.

Any offer will depend on Mohamed Salah's coming, though England have been linked with a move for True Sociedad winger Takefusa Kubo in recent months. The Egyptian's contract is due to expire next summer, but the offer or signing of a new deal does n't look imminent at this moment in time.

With Salah then 32, Liverpool may appear to cash in on their sun forward and, if they do, Red midfielder Wataru Endo has confirmed the team's plans to replace him with his Japan national team team-mate Kubo.

" They 're] Liverpool ] looking for a replacement for Mo Salah, so that's probably going to be a real area for Liverpool to strengthen in the future, and if they think about who can replace him, I think it'll be Kubo", Endo told ABEMA Sports Time, via AnythingLFC.

England have a difficult decision to make this summer. Not only is Salah's agreement off in 12 months ' occasion, but so are Virgil van Dijk's and Trent Alexander-Arnold's, also.

The Reds order may want to cash in on the pair out of fear of losing them for free in less than a month, but new manager Arne Slot evidently prefers to avoid losing them before he's actually managed to get his feet under the table. There would be more money available for Slot to use to create deals that were better suited for his style of play, which suggests there is a real chance that Endo's claims will be made.

An interesting skills, Kubo may be well-suited to settling in at Anfield. The 23-year-old is a vital figure at Real Sociedad, using his numerous kicking skills from the proper wing to both set up and score goals himself.

Valued at £42m by Transfermarkt, True Sociedad are expected to desire substantially more for the Chinese winger. His lease expires in 2029, but his ability and age suggest that he will only improve over the coming seasons.

In DataVictory's see, Kubo would be a great addition to the England club, while it certainly seems more of a chance with Endo's new responses. But, Salah's potential will determine that, as a significant transfer fee will be required before the Reds can leave their sun man.
