Talks to preserve Lowry in Philadelphia ramped up over the past year as Lowry was considering various options, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. On Thursday, the 76ers ' chairman of basketball operations Daryl Morey signed a contract to stay Lowry's seasoned presence on the team for another year. The value of the offer has not been reported.
