The BBC's brand-new Champions League features show will not be presented by Gary Lineker.
Gary Lineker has continued to be the experience of Euro 2024's policy on the BBC. Former England international scorer, 63, is a familiar face to football fans all over the country and a senior of the presenting activity.
The BBC's fresh Champions League features show will not be on, according to the Telegraph. The new season's schedule includes 16 exhibits that will be shown on Wednesday nights.
Lineker, though, was apparently reluctant to travel to the BBC's spread productions in Salford wednesday given his hectic schedule. He will rather concentrate on hosting The Rest Is Sports radio and presenting Match of the Day.
Who will provide the BBC's fresh Champions League features show?
The Champions League features show will be hosted by Gabby Logan. She may lead the project until at least 2027 after the BBC agreed a three-year offer to transmit Europe's most prominent competitors.
Lineker is still working on his BBC commitment for 12 months, according to the Telegraph, who claim he was never given a formal offer to show the features of the Champions League. There is apparently "uncertainty" surrounding his coming after 25 years as a reporter for the BBC.
For now, though, Lineker will remain focused on presenting the Euro 2024 last, with Spain facing one of England or Netherlands in Berlin on Sunday.
