One of the most interesting wingers in the contest, Nicco Williams, has been playing at Euro 2024 with his nephew Inaki, and if things had turned out differently, he might have been playing alongside him.
The two boys are both essential people for Atheltic Bilbao, but alas for Spain, Inaki is a Ghana worldwide. And they're not the only boys to play for various places.
At the 2014 World Cup, Jerome Boateng lined up for future champions Germany against his nephew Kevin-Prince who was wearing a Ghana clothing, while Euro 2016 saw Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka locking antlers against his elder brother Taulant for Albania, giving their family perhaps the best reason for a half-and-half top always.

After their kids crossed the Sahara Desert while traveling across the continent, the Williams boys were both born in Spain. Unknown legal counsel advised them to state that they had arrived in Spain from Liberia, no Ghana, where they were originally from.
Inaki is the older Williams sibling, born in 1994. After being a Spain under-21s standard, he was capped at senior levels in a 2016 welcoming and has also played half for a Basque Country area that are not formally recognised by FIFA.
Inaki is currently making 251 La Liga images in a row for the majority of his Athletic Bilbao career, but he was frequently snubbed by the Colonial national team.
Inaki, a man who admitted to not believing it would be appropriate to replace someone who truly deserves to go and who believes Ghana 100 %, was a visit Spain never made, but when the Black Stars called ahead of the 2022 World Cup, the Spaniard realized lightning could strike double.
Despite the attacker only being 20 years old, the then-Spain boss, Luis Enrique, called Nico up for their Nations League games in September 2022 because he did n't want to risk losing a second Williams brother to Ghana. Since then he has become a vital part of the Spain set-up, winning his 20th cover in their Euro 2024 semi-final against France.
Of course, there was a chance that they could have played up for Spain, and perhaps La Roja may regret it because Inaki was obviously eager to represent the nation of his birth.
