Erik ten Hag has signed new term at Old Trafford until 2026, according to Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag has been given new words at Manchester United, according to Manchester United.
The Dutchman was appointed manager in the summer of 2022, and he has so far been credited with helping the team win both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. After the Red Devils finished eighth in the Premier League next year, rumors persisted, but INEOS have continued to support their manager.
Ten Hag, 54, was rumoured to be on the way out of Old Trafford despite the result of the 2024 FA Cup final but Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford have laid down a symbol that the original Ajax manager is strongly portion of their intentions moving forward.
Ten Hag has penned new agreements with the team that will allow him to work at the Theatre of Goals until at least 2026, as confirmed by the club on Thursday. The Manchester United director insisted after the announcement that he was eager to keep making progress during a crucial time for everyone involved at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag said:" I am very pleased to have reached ]an ] agreement with the club to continue working together. We can look up and be proud of the two trophies and numerous examples of progress since when I first joined, and look back with satisfaction.
However, we must also be aware that Manchester United also has a lot of work to do before it can reach the standards required, which includes challenges to the English and Western titles.
" In my conversations with the team, we have found perfect unity in our eyesight for reaching those goals, and we are all highly committed to making that journey up".
Whilst Ten Hag's season in the Premier League may not have gone to approach, INEOS managers have, in our mind, made the correct call. Teens Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have been nurtured beautifully by the original Achilles administrator and we feel the only way is off for Manchester United under his leadership in 2024/25.
