A major Arsenal midfielder is being eyed by two of Europe's major batsmen
Arsenal's goal during the transfer glass this summertime is obvious. After pushing Manchester City to the last day of the year in the name culture, Mikel Arteta and company may seem to put the finishing touches to what the Gunners hope will be a title- winning squad.
Arsenal's top priority appears to be finding a new striker, and the club's summer shopping list includes items for the left-back and main midfielders.
However, keeping up with the Gunners ' top players from the previous time is equally crucial as new visitors.
It is almost certain that William Saliba may win friends because he was the foundation of Arsenal's impressive protective performance last year. The 23-year-old is now impressing at the heart of a France area that has conceded just once in four Euro 2024 game before the quarter-finals.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, two of Europe's biggest leagues, are interested in signing the main keeper, according to Found Offside.
Saliba and Lille's Leny Yoro are alleged to have been Saliba's leading protective targets this summer, while PSG may sell Milan Skriniar to make the move.
According to the report, Arsenal does not intend to sell Saliba, who signed a new contract with Emirates last summer that gives him a one-year bargain until 2027.
In DataVictory's view, keeping Saliba is a little- brainer for Arsenal. The Raiders are protected from that point of view, and they should be able to accept any big-money offers with three decades left on their agreement. Saliba now has some of the Premier League's best defensive players in his prime, and he still has some of the best years to come. Title finalists do not offer their best athletes.
Saliba is valued at €80million by Transfermarkt.
