After missing Games 3 and 4, Porzingis was carted off with a left calf wound, the Boston Celtics announced that he is fit to play in Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
Then, get ahead, Kristaps Porzingis.
Porzingis, who had a left knee injuries that prevented him from playing in his previous two sports, will return for Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday evening. Although it's not clear whether Porzingis will play for the Dallas Mavericks in the match, head coach Joe Mazzulla previously stated that they "expect to observe him now."

The 7-foot-2 Romanian collided with Dallas core Derek Lively II in the fourth quarter to cause a lateral tibialis displacement in his left knee during the Celtics ' Game 2 victory over the Mavs. He appeared limping throughout the remainder of the game.
Porzingis missed Game 3, but was engaged for Game 4— though "active" may be a powerful word for it. Head coach Joe Mazzulla said before Boston's Game 4 lost that Porzingis was" not very it" in terms of starting, but available to play in "very certain circumstances if required".
No one ( but Mazzulla, apparently ) knows what those occasions are, but none of them occurred in Game 4 as the Celtics got blown out by the Mavericks 122- 84. The championship was n't on the line, and Porzingis subsequently did n't see any playing time.
Porzingis ' resting helped him prepare for the Celtics ' golden opportunity on Monday night despite his loss. They've got a 3- 1 guide and they're playing at home against the Mavericks. To take that medal home, they need just one more earn, and Mazzulla has all the answers.
