The Hall of Fame was awaited for decades by the Flyers and Bulls wonderful.
Chet Walker, a Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls wonderful enshrined in the Naismith Hall of Fame, has died, his previous team confirmed Saturday. He was 84 years older.
Walker, nicknamed" Floyd the Jet" for his frequency on the jury, earned NBA All- Star honours in seven of his 13 times as a specialist, winning a tournament in 1967 with the Flyers. He never missed the playoffs during his profession, which came to an end after winning a lawsuit against the NBA and the Bulls.

The native of Mississippi attended Bradley University in school, where he helped the Braves win the 1957 and 1960 NIT championships. He half won majority first-team All-American honors, leaving Bradley as the school's all-time leading scorer. He remains five on the group's existing list.
The Sixers, subsequently known as the Syracuse Nationals selected Walker in the next round, 12th nevertheless, in the 1962 NBA Draft. After a powerful rookie season, the team moved to Philadelphia, where Walker evolved into a persistent All- Star.
The 1967 Flyers defeated the Boston Celtics in five matches in the Eastern Conference finals, becoming the first team since 1958 to beat them in the playoffs with Wilt Chamberlain as the lead coach and Walker and Hal Greer as the co-stars. The Flyers proceeded to fight the San Francisco Warriors, who left Philadelphia the preceding century, in the NBA Finals for the movie's next tournament.
In 1969, Walker was traded to the Bulls for Jim Washington, and the team excelled in that role, helping Chicago reach the post-season despite its battles in its first few months.
That career ended in contentious fashion in 1975 when the Bulls denied Walker's request for a$ 200, 000 annual salary. The Bulls and the NBA were taken in court after he demanded that they be traded or released, and he took the team to judge for admitted antitrust violations.
Walker ended up with a lawsuit and opted to leave, after finding a second job as a writer and film maker. However, the Bulls went from winning 47 matches the preceding 1974- 75 period to 24 gets in 1975- 76.
Walker claimed in 2007 that he believed he was blacklisted because of his petition and leadership position in the athletes ' union, and it took years for him to join the Hall of Fame despite having a convincing situation.
Walker passed away in 2012, at the age of 72.
