Following summer, FIFA's expanded Club World Cup will take place in the USA.
After making an appearance declaring that Los Blancos did not participate in the competition, Carlo Ancelotti has clarified Real Madrid's place on the Club World Cup, saying that his remarks were" no interpreted in the way I intended."
Real Madrid, who won the Champions League at Wembley next month, are now reportedly playing in the Club World Cup.
Nothing could be further from my curiosity than to turn down the chance to compete in a game that offers me a fantastic chance to continue scheming for big titles with Real Madrid, Ancelotti said.
" People and clubs may not participate in that tournament", the original Chelsea director was quoted as saying Italian magazine, Il Giornale. FIFA wants to pay the$ 20 million that Real Madrid players receive for the entire competition.
" Like us, another clubs may refuse the offer."
With Ancelotti attempting to correct things, it appears certain that the German leaders will play in the stunning new tournament, which will host teams from all over the world.
The game will take place between June 13 and July 15 of the following summer, and it has 32 clubs added, a significant increase over the seven teams who participated in the previous one in December 2023.
The new file did see 12 clubs from UEFA, six from CONMEBOL, four from each of CONCACAF, CAD and the AFC, plus one from Oceania's OFC and one from the host country, the USA.
FIFA's ideas were criticized by players ' coalition FIFPRO, who cited burning concerns.
