The England sun will play at Euro 2024, so Ivan Toney has spoken about a potential summer move apart from Brentford.
With both Chelsea and Arsenal reported to still be interested in signing the scorer this summer, Ivan Toney has addressed potential rumors.
The England international was immediately requested for £80 million in January, but that figure has been reduced to £60 million ahead of the new year as the Bees attempt to cash in on the 28-year-old with just one year left on his contract.
Although Toney himself is n't too persuaded by the speculation, both Chelsea and Arsenal are said to be the teams that are reportedly pursuing his signature the most. Toney explained where his target is right now before England's last class activity against Slovenia at Euro 2024.
" I ca n't predict the future and if I could I would n't be sat here in front of you guys, Toney said". What will be likely be, and my main goal is to represent my nation also. I've been through it ( transfer speculation ) before.
" I've been the subject of a lot of conversations about my career, and I just do n't let the outside noise get to me."
I'm around with England then, and the main focus is doing well for England and whatever happens, happens. I ca n't control it. However, it seems like Brentford has different plans, with Thomas Frank, a director, highlighting on BBC that the filing of Dmitry Thiago from Club Brugge is a prelude to Toney's ostensibly expected departure.
" Of course, we plan and then other things you happen", Frank said. We may be selling a person, but we are prepared for that. It's no secret that there's lots of speculations about Ivan. Igor Thiago is already a major player, so if he leaves, I'd still like to maintain him because he's a major player.
