Jamie Carragher's social media account has been compromised.
After a number of strange articles appeared on the pundit's X bill on Tuesday evening, Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher succumbed to the clutches of hackers.
The posts were published shortly after Slovenia's last class sport of Euro 2024, and they have been live for more than 25 minutes as of writing.
Carragher has so far amassed more than two million followers on his Instagram account to showcase his work on The Overlap and another impressive punditry achievements.
Jamie Carragher's Twitter tumult
Supposed hackers took to Carragher's account just after 8pm on Tuesday, posting three days on his X accounts.
The second appeared to encourage a kind of bitcoin, as well as tagging the official England account, browsing:" I love these memecoins in @Solana. What is your preferred Memecoin? @LFC"
The' Solana ' account tagged has nearly 3 million fans, with a profile which reads: ' Solana is a bitcoin built for mass adoption ◎ Fast, composable, clean, and worldwide distributed'.
Carragher and other pundit Micah Richards posed for photos in front of the Ballon D'or trophy in the next post.
The caption of this post read:" ca n't hear those waiting for CA @MicahRichards #MESSI"
The second, and perhaps the strangest, article had no photo attached to an incomprehendable mishmash of letters and numbers, reading:"$ OGUN CA 28wDWMZicx5fH7Zkk12zzUXkfgHfAoK3SmBJu649pump"
The original England international's return to his account is still undetermined. Who is responsible for the Twitter invasion? Before the thief completely oversaw his account, the articles were next deleted.
